What is Lyocell? A new fiber produced from Eucalyptus wood chips

More and more we see that products from fashion and sports contain Lyocell. For example, Xtra makes socks with lyocell and our underwear brand Xtra rossen more often uses new natural fibers in addition to cotton. But what exactly is Lyocell and why is it more commonly used?

Lyocell is an artificially produced fiber and is sold under the brand name.

The strong fibers are regenerated. These quantities are sufficient for a moisture absorbing capacity.
